Sibelius Natural Products is delighted to announce a new partnership with a Japanese distributor, which enables us to sell our branded and clinically evidenced ingredients into the Japanese market.
Distribution in Japan further expands our global network of partners which includes long standing relationships in the US, Asia Pacific, and Europe. “Consumers need products that help them age well” said Peter Leyland, CEO at Sibelius Natural Products. “Our new distributor partner will help us fulfil our vision to deliver natural and effective health solutions to the Japanese market.”
Sibelius™:Sage is the first of Sibelius’ ingredients to have been approved for registration in the Japanese market. Our clinically supported and fully traceable sage extract derives from a proprietary, non-GMO cultivar of sage (Salvia officinalis L.) grown in the Hampshire, UK. Its unparalleled quality, versatility in terms of delivery formats, as well as its clinical evidence, is what makes it stand out.
Kieron Edwards, our Chief Scientific Officer, says “As we age, our cognitive abilities decline, so an ingredient that can help to counteract some of these issues is very exciting. What makes Sibelius™: Sage unique, is that participants in our clinical study experienced cognitive benefits in as quickly as 1 hour, with effects lasting for up to 6 hours”.
Sibelius™:LactoMato, our highly bioavailable Lycopene Complex, will also be commercially available in Japan. Its strong scientific evidence supporting men’s and cardiovascular health, as well as its patent-protected formulation, is what made it attractive to this market.
All our ingredients have been scientifically tested using Chronoscreen™, Sibelius’ patented platform, which enables the exploration of natural single-compounds and complex extracts and the identification of their activity. We continuously test for functional natural ingredients from which we select the most biologically active for our own proprietary products, or to explore co-development opportunities with commercial partners.
If you believe our science-backed ingredients could be a good fit for your next product launch, we would love to hear from you.
