This includes modulating the production of inflammatory cytokines including TNFα, IL-1β, IFNɣ, and IL-6,^7,8,9as well as the production of inflammation signalling molecules including NO and prostaglandins.¹⁰ Such activities likely contribute towards beneficial effects for Chaga shown in models of inflammatory bowel disease ¹¹ and induced inflammation.¹²
